Eastern Airways is set to introduce its first-ever
international flights from SouthamptonInternational Airport
to Brussels.
The full-service UK
regional airline will succeed VLM Airlines on the route starting November 1,
2005, and will offer two flights each weekday to benefit Hampshire-based
travelers heading to the European Union capital.
An aircraft will be based at Southampton, enabling the
airline to depart from the airport at 7.10am and 5.50pm, arriving in Brussels at 9.30am and
8.10pm (local time) respectively. Return services will depart Brussels
at 10.10am and 8.40pm, landing in Southampton
at 10.30am and 9pm local time.

services from Southampton to Brussels,” said Richard Lake, Eastern Airways’ Managing
Director. “There have traditionally been strong business links between the two
cities, and we have moved quickly to ensure the continuation of this service
with an enhanced business schedule for Southampton
travelers.”
