Thomas Cook has opened a brand new store at Sainsbury’s complex in Aberdeen UK. Designed to satisfy one’s travel needs, customers can visit the store to collect brochures, find a late deal, book a cruise or a wedding abroad, or organize a summer holiday.
The store is one of 24 outlets across the UK that has been established in partnership with retail giant Sainsbury’s. According to the company, they’ve received customer feedback showing that having a travel agent in-store is a useful addition for a supermarket. Following a successful national trial, the new Thomas Cook store was opened in Aberdeen.
“We’re looking forward to meeting so many people as they do their shopping in Sainsbury’s. You might not expect to buy a holiday along with the milk and the cat food, but we’ve got some great deals that might see you soon heading off for the sun,” says Stacy Edghill, manager of Thomas Cook in Aberdeen Sainsbury’s.
