Priceline.com has launched 866-PRICELINE,
a toll-free telephone reservation service that allows customers to purchase
vacation packages and hotel rooms 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The new
telephone service is in addition to priceline.com's Internet-based travel
reservation services.
The new 866-PRICELINE telephone
reservation service covers a broad array of travel options. Vacation packages
service includes over 3,500 hotel and resort properties in the U.S., Mexico,
the Caribbean, Europe and Canada.
This service lets customers choose the exact hotel they want and review the
final price before deciding to make a purchase.
Meanwhile, priceline.com's
published-price hotel service, also available through 866-PRICELINE, covers
over 60,000 hotels around the globe. Customers can choose from an extensive
array of hotels, each with its own published price. All major brands are
represented, as well as thousands of independent properties. For deeper
