The Original London Sightseeing Tour has
announced the inclusion of a new tour route within the British capital city,
citing renewed tourism growth to London
over the past months.
Called “Museum Link,” the route operates
between Kensington and Russell
Square and has frequent stops to a number of London’s premier museums, including the British and
Natural History Museum, as well as other London
tourist spots such as Harrods.
The Original London
Sightseeing Tour is the only tour
operator to offer a hop-on, hop-off 24-hour service. Valid until March 31,
2006, the 24 hour Hop-on, Hop-off ticket is priced at £10 for children aged
5-15 years and £16 for 16 years and above. Guaranteed daily departures (except
December 25) are available from six main starting points - Baker Street, GrosvenorGarden: Victoria, Marble Arch, Haymarket, Embankment
Pier and Coventry Street.
The tour provides over ninety stops on
five different tour routes with either live English guides or eight recorded
language commentaries delivered through digital headsets. With new buses in its
fleet, The Original Tour claims that it is the only sightseeing tour operator
in London to
offer wheelchair accessible buses in its fleet.
Vouchers for the hop-on, hop-off tours
are booked through Asia Pacific Travel Marketing Services on 1300 300 713.
Passengers then present their vouchers to a representative at one of the six
starting points in exchange for a 24-hour ticket. Reservations are not
required.
