“Cheat Sheet” initiative to enhance service for travelers

Jan 17, 2006

Cheapflights has announced the launch of a new telephone "Cheat Sheet" consumer resource on its website at www.cheapflights.co.uk. This facility is designed to help consumers circumvent computerized answering systems and gain faster access to a real person over the telephone.

By simply clicking the relevant tab on Cheapflights.co.uk’s "Travel Tips" sections, users can access telephone "Cheat Sheet" lists for twenty airlines, tour operators and hotel groups. Cheapflights pioneered independent online travel price comparison and travel deals publishing in 1996.

"Cheapflights believes that, despite the increasing use of the Internet, there are times when customers will need to talk to a real person. We have all been frustrated and annoyed by automated telephone systems. We have accordingly compiled a "Cheat Sheet" to help consumers to speak to a real-live-person asap when calling. Our "Cheat Sheet" comprises most of the leading UK travel companies," says CEO David Soskin.
