diy travel Ltd has announced the launch
of www.diytravel.co.uk, a “do it yourself” website for travelers who prefer to
organize and plan their own trips independently.
The website offers 15,000 competitively
priced hotels in the destinations most visited by British travelers, reviewed
and rated by the DIY travel community composed of 30,000 active members (at
launch). These members provide peer-to-peer reviews of hotels and destinations
as well as tips and travel advice.
HotelRank™, diy travel's unique hotel
ranking system, automatically lists the best deals currently available and the
highest community-ranked hotels for each destination selected by the user –
whether by country, region or city. diy travel says its booking engine is
optimized to deliver hotel search results in the minimum amount of time, thus
eliminating the frustration of long loading screens. The engine also provides
instant hotel booking confirmations online and by email.
"UK travelers are embracing the 'do
it yourself' phenomena in ever greater numbers and indicators suggest that this
trend will only increase" said Ben Jackson, Managing Director, diy travel
Ltd. "Consumer reviews are an essential tool when booking 'diy' as they
are far more revealing than official ratings systems. At diy travel,
accommodation can be booked in the knowledge that a hotel has provided a good
service to other members,” he explained.
