Travel
company Thomas Cook is now offering holidaymakers in Yorkshire the chance to
fly from Leeds Bradford airport to more than five new destinations this summer,
including Corfu, Zante, Crete, Rhodes and Cyprus. It will also offer holidays
to 10 hotspots during the summer with weekly flights to The Algarve,
Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Majorca, Tenerife and Dalaman in Turkey.
“Holidays
are so important to us but we all seem to be even tighter on time these days so
whatever we can do to make the holiday start quicker, last longer and be as
stress-free as possible, we will do,” a Thomas Cook spokesperson said.
“Yorkshire people love to holiday so we've added five new hotspots for them to
visit (in Greece and Cyprus) as well
as some all-time favorites. Hopefully – without having
to travel to the likes of Gatwick or Manchester
– people in Yorkshire will be even happier
holidaymakers this summer,” the spokesperson added.
