Passengers traveling on easyJet flights from London Gatwick with scheduled departure times of up to 0830hrs can check-in both themselves and their luggage starting 2200hrs the night before. Those wishing to try this new service will be able to use the normal easyJet check-in areas in zone 'A' of the South Terminal at the airport. Upon arrival at the airport for their flight, passengers who have checked-in in advance can proceed directly through security and onto the departure gate, displaying the boarding card they were given earlier.
As per standard easyJet procedure, passengers using the “all night check-in” service should arrive at the gate no later than 30 minutes before departure.
“Once again, easyJet is leading the way by offering yet another customer service to its passengers. The ‘all night check-in’ service will undoubtedly prove popular with business and passengers alike, allowing more free time and flexibility. It will also give passengers the opportunity to avoid the airport’s morning rush,” says Emma Curwood, easyJet’s Marketing Manager for UK South.
