Romance will be in
the air for more than 3,000 passengers jetting off to the sun this Valentine’s
Day as Thomas Cook marks the occasion by presenting each passenger with a box
of chocolates. The Cadbury’s chocolates will be handed out on 13 Thomas Cook
flights to holiday hotspots on February 14. The airline also gave out presents
to passengers on Christmas Day and Boxing Day flights last year.
“It’s always a
special date for many couples who deliberately choose Valentine’s Day to start
their holiday and get in the romantic mood by ordering champagne on board,”
said Joanna Wild, Director of Customer Services for Thomas Cook Airlines. “This
year we decided to remind everyone about the romance of the occasion with a
gift. We’re hoping it may even inspire a few proposals of marriage on board!”
Wild added.
