Budget airline Ryanair
announced a new route from Bournemouth to Pisa, considered
by many as the gateway to Tuscany.
The new service starts on June 8 and will operate 3 times weekly on Tuesday,
Thursdays & Saturdays. This new route comes in addition to 3 existing
Ryanair routes to Dublin, Glasgow
and Barcelona, and will result in 40,000
additional passengers at Bournemouth annually.
To celebrate this
new route, Ryanair is offering 10,000 seats at a promo rate of £9.99, one way
excluding taxes, on all routes from Bournemouth. These seats are already
available for booking on at www.ryanair.com.
Announcing this
new route in Bournemouth, Ryanair’s Deputy CEO and COO Michael Cawley said, “Over
the next year Ryanair will operate 4 routes at Bournemouth,
delivering 325,000 passengers and sustaining 325 jobs in the local economy.
Passengers from Bournemouth will now be able to enjoy the lowest fares in
Europe to explore Pisa, Florence and the Tuscan countryside.”
