Single holiday specialist, Just You, has
become the first tour operator to charter a cruise ship exclusively for single
travelers. According to the tour operator, all cabins on the Ocean Majesty will
be available for sole occupancy. As with all Just You holidays, no single
supplements are charged. An added benefit of this cruise is that with fewer
passengers per cabin, each traveler will have the luxury of even more space
than usual to enjoy the facilities the ship has to offer.
The Ocean Majesty will set sail from
Southampton on Friday, September 29, for a leisurely 7-night cruise of Iberia’s
most famous towns and cities. After a full day cruising at sea, visits are made
to five ports of call, the first of which is the old town of Vigo
on Spain’s Atlantic Coast
for a days’ sightseeing before cruising down to Portugal’s
historic capital, Lisbon.
Sailing up the River Tagus into Lisbon
is regarded as one of the finest entries of any cruise port in the world.
The next stop is Gibraltar with an
inclusive trip to the famous “Rock”, before continuing to the beach resort of Alicante on Spain’s lively Costa Blanca. The
Ocean Majesty will make a final call at around midday on day seven in the
cosmopolitan city of Barcelona,
where she will moor overnight, allowing passenger plenty of time for shopping
and to explore the many cultural and architectural treasures of the city.
Prices start from £799 for an inside
2-bed cabin on a sole occupancy basis. Each cabin features private facilities,
telephone, TV, radio and air-conditioning. The price includes a drinks
reception on the first evening, a Gala dinner, all meals on board, excursion to
Gibraltar and a program of daytime and evening
entertainment.
Also included are return charter flights
from Barcelona to Gatwick or Manchester
airports and complimentary coach transfers from Gatwick to Southampton,
as well as the services of a Just You Tour Manager.
