Flying to the Spanish Islands has never been so easy with
Monarch Airlines’ launching of two new flights and an increase in the frequency
of one of its newly introduced services.
The new flights, which will
commence at the beginning of May, will operate from London Gatwick to Lanzarote
and from Birmingham
to Lanzarote. In addition, the airline is increasing the frequency of flights
between Birmingham and Menorca,
raising the number of services each week to four. Flights can now be booked via
www.flymonarch.com, with fares
starting from £49.99 one way including taxes and web booking discount.
Commenting on the expansion
of the route network for Summer 06, Tim Jeans, managing director of Monarch’s
scheduled division said, “We are delighted to be able to offer our passengers
these new services to Lanzarote, which until now has been predominantly served
by the charter airlines. The addition of services from Gatwick and Birmingham to existing flights from Luton means a 300%
increase in flights to the Island this summer.”
Jeans further added that the increased number of flights to Menorca is in
response to the airline’s rapidly growing Midlands
base.
