Jet2.com introduces new Italian routes from £21

Apr 13, 2006

Jet2.com has started offering flights to Rome and Milan with prices from £21 including taxes. In addition, services to Venice are expected to get underway after the winter break.

The airline, which now offers UK residents four city destinations to fly to in Italy, will carry its first passengers from both Leeds Bradford and Manchester Airports to Rome and from Leeds Bradford to Venice, Rome and Milan. In addition, an inaugural service for Pisa (Florence) is scheduled to leave from Manchester and Newcastle International on the 25th of May and from Leeds Bradford, Belfast International and Edinburgh Airport on the 27th.

“We are absolutely delighted to be launching so many new services to Italy this week, offering more people the chance to explore this beautiful country, which is steeped in culture, history and art. We also extend our warmest welcome to all our passengers from Manchester to Rome, who had been left bereft of a direct service to the ‘Eternal City’ since BA axed the route last November,” says Philip Meeson, head of Jet2.com.
