Virgin Trains is
now selling an all-inclusive ticket that includes travel and entrance to the Alton Towers
theme park. The ticket is available for travel on Mondays to Saturdays until October 31, 2006, with the
exception of bank holidays.
The Alton Towers
all-inclusive ticket provides Virgin Trains day return travel to Stoke-on-Trent from London Euston, Watford Junction, Milton Keynes, Stockport,
Manchester Piccadilly, Birmingham
New Street and Wolverhampton
together with a dedicated Alton
Towers coach from station
to and from Alton
Towers and entry to the
theme park.
The Alton
Towers-branded coach transfer leaves Stoke-on-Trent
station at 10:00 a.m. each
day and leaves the park at 5:30 p.m.
to return to the station. Virgin Trains says the offer is not available on
Sundays or some selected dates throughout the year, and some journeys may be
affected by essential engineering work during the period. Passengers are
advised to check schedules when they book tickets.
By booking a
Virgin Value ticket up to 6 p.m.
on the day before travel, adults traveling from London Euston can enjoy their
all-inclusive day out from just £35.50
and children aged from five to 15 from £17.
Virgin Trains says those booking earliest will get the best deals, and
availability is limited, so customers will need to take advantage of
complimentary seat reservations when booking their tickets.
Tickets may be
purchased from the Virgin Trains website at www.virgin.com/trains/altontowers,
from the stations involved, or from the Virgin Trains Call Centre on 08457 222
333.
