Crystal announces additions to upcoming Lakes & Mountains brochure

May 19, 2006

Crystal Holidays has bared several additions to their Lakes & Mountains 2007 preview brochure. The company says it is offering a new resort, Nassfeld in Austria, and a new tour called "Highlights of the Finnish Summer".

According to the brochure, Nassfeld lies in an unspoilt area in the sunny, southern province of Carinthia, close to the Italian border. In this area, travelers can find The Cube Hotel, a hotel concept encompassing new sporting activities which range from riding monster rollers (bikes with huge tires), to mountain boards (snowboards adapted for summer with tires), trikke (a combination of a tricycle and a scooter), Stanley rider (a giant go-kart on three tyres), river tubing (float downstream on a round tube) and more traditional activities such as climbing, mountain biking and Nordic walking. The Cube is priced from £369 per person for 7 nights' half-board, flights and transfers, Crystal reveals.

Meanwhile, the "Highlights of the Finnish Summer" tour is a seven night independent tour where travelers can experience the nature and culture of this land of a thousand lakes. Crystal says the tour is priced from £699 per person for 7 nights' bed and breakfast, flights and car hire.

Crystal also says that customers who will be pre-booking excursions in Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Switzerland from the preview brochure can receive either free excursions or money-off vouchers for additional excursions. Holiday prices in the Lakes & Mountains 2007 preview brochure start from £232 for 7 nights' self-catering in the 3 star Doria Apartments in Garda on Lake Garda, Italy, departing on the 28th of April 2007, including return flights from Gatwick to Verona and transfers.
