EasyHotel
has inked a pact with the Splendid Hotel Group to open its first franchised
property in London.
According
to EasyHotel, the Splendid Hotel Group intends to convert the 50-room Easton
Hotel in the Victoria
section of London
into a 78-room EasyHotel, to reopen later this year. The Victoria property will be EasyHotel’s second
venture in London,
and it currently owns the EasyHotel in Lexham Gardens,
Kensington.
EasyHotel
recently bared plans to open 38 Easy-branded properties across Middle East, India and North
Africa over the next five years. The group recently signed a
master franchise agreement with Istithmar, a Dubai-based investment house.
