Virgin
Atlantic has launched Flying Club Buy Miles, a program by which Flying Club
members that do not have enough miles to redeem on a flight, upgrade or other
reward, can purchase the miles they need online. In addition, Flying Club
members can purchase miles as a gift for a friend or colleague.
Buy
Miles allows Flying Club members to purchase up to 25,000 miles in any calendar
year, in increments of 1000. Members can purchase 1000 miles for £30 and 5000
miles for £90.
To
avail of this offer, Flying Club members need to log in to their Flying Club
account at www.virginatlantic/flyingclub.com
and select “Buy Miles.” From there, the member will automatically transfer to a
secure website where they can make their purchase. Upon acceptance of their
payment, the miles will be added to the member’s account. For Gift Miles, the
mileage will be added to the nominated person’s account.
