Virgin Atlantic ramps up Gatwick-Las Vegas flights

May 30, 2006

Virgin Atlantic Airways has increased its services between Gatwick and Las Vegas from six services a week to daily. Flights to Las Vegas depart Gatwick Airport at 10:45am and arrive in to McCarran International Airport at 1:30pm. On the other hand, flights depart Las Vegas at 4:05pm, arriving back into Gatwick the following morning at 9:55am.

Services to Las Vegas are operated on a Boeing 747-400 aircraft with a configuration of 14 Upper Class Suites, 58 Premium Economy and 379 Economy seats. Virgin Atlantic currently flies to 26 destinations worldwide and will commence services to Montego Bay in Jamaica on 03 July this year.

“I am delighted to announce that Las Vegas has become a daily service. Las Vegas is a fantastic city full of excitement and entertainment and it has proved to be a very popular route with both leisure and business travelers. Since we introduced the first ever direct service to Las Vegas in June 2000, Virgin Atlantic has carried over 700,000 passengers,” says Steve Ridgway, Chief Executive of Virgin Atlantic.
